Do you want to track the GPS location of someone’s iPhone? Use free online services. Apple offers the service Find My Phone, provided it’s set up on the iOS device and online; while Google suggests Timeline.
Find My Phone:
Step 1: Click All Devices.
Note: Green and grey dots signify online and offline status respectively.
Step 2: Pick the device you want to trace.
Note: The approximate coordinates are shown on the map.
Step 3: Update the location to get the most accurate information.
Note: There are multiple ways to do it: by clicking Refresh, dragging the map, zooming, clicking the view you’d want (Hybrid, Satellite, Standard) in the map’s bottom-right corner.
Google is not just for Android devices. Thus, iPhones can be found as well, provided Location Services are enabled. Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Go to Google maps – Timeline.
Step 2: Click Today or pick the current date in the top left of the screen.
Step 3: Scroll down to find the last recorded location of an iPhone.
